Oak Cliff High Schoolers Spread The Word About Teen Homelessness

Our esteemed board member, Derrick Battie, organized a drive this past weekend to collect supplies for our homeless clients and other homeless teens in Dallas area. This drive directly involved the community and the students of South Oak Cliff and Townview High Schools. The students organized an extremely impressive environment from which to give supplies and raise awareness for teen homelessness.  

Derrick is extremely goal oriented, and driven to go all in on a project. He has always been a great partner to us here at Focus on Teens. Derrick is so committed to our community, and we are proud to be associated with his efforts.
